PRESIDENT'S WELCOME
Chapter President
I am honored to extend a warm welcome to our virtual home as the President of the Richland County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated. On April 24, 1994, along with 44 determined women, we embarked on a journey with limitless horizons. Over nearly three decades, Richland County Alumnae Chapter has stood as a pillar of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Our commitment is resolute – we embrace our mission and the Five Point Programmatic Thrust with a commitment to excellence and substantial impact across educational development, economic empowerment, international awareness and involvement, political awareness and involvement, as well as physical and mental health. This website serves as a conduit to showcase our diverse community initiatives and an updated calendar of events within our service areas: Richland, Lexington, Newberry, and Fairfield Counties.
To our visitors, as you move through our website, we trust you will gain a better understanding of who we are and what all we do. Feel free to reach out via our website, Facebook, or Instagram. To those who have already engaged with us through partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. For those who already are duly initiated members of our sorority and seek a welcoming chapter, you have found it! We extend an invitation to you to join us at our chapter meetings or events. The founders of our esteemed sorority envisioned opportunities within challenges and, driven by faith and determination, ignited meaningful change. We stand tall upon their courageous legacy, reaping the benefits of their actions. Our ongoing efforts have facilitated scholarships totaling over $200,000, empowering promising young women and men to pursue higher education. The resources raised also bolster community programs and public service projects. With your continued endorsement, we can continue to transform lives and impact our communities in the counties we serve.
On behalf of the dedicated 300 plus members of Richland County Alumnae Chapter, I extend profound appreciation for affording us the privilege to serve you. Thank you for visiting our website!
